• Annex 1 - Mandatory conditions

   

  1              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

   

  a)              At a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence,

   

  or

   

  b)              At a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence, or his personal licence is suspended.

   

   

  2              Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

   

  3              Any individual employed on the premises to carry out a security activity must be licensed by the Security Industry Authority.

   

   

  4              The terms, conditions and restrictions detailed in the Blackpool Borough Council Entertainments Licences (Standard Conditions) Regulations 1985 must be adhered to at all times.

   

  Music must not be excessive in volume and must be under the control of the licence holder or his duly appointed representative. The requirements of the Licensing Authority's Environmental Health Division in relation to levels of noise produced inside or outside the premises as a result of, incidental to, or arising from the public entertainment, shall be complied with.

  5              Exhibition of films

   

                Where the film classification body is specified in the licence, unless the following applies, admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendations made by that body

   

                Where  -

   

  a)              The film classification body is not specified in the licence,

   

  or

   

  b)              The relevant licensing authority has notified the holder of the licence that this condition is applied to the film in question,

   

                Admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that licensing authority.

  Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule

   

  1              In Metro Nightclub and the Royal Suite permitted hours for all licensable activities may be extended until 0600 on up to 12 occasions per calendar year, subject to 14 days notice being given to the Police.

   

  2              Permitted hours for all licensable activities may extend from 1000 on New Year's Eve to 0100 on 2nd January (0400 in Metro Nightclub and the Trafalgar, Royal, Queens and Lancaster Suites) each year.

   

  3              There are no restrictions on the hours for the exhibition of films in guests' bedrooms or the showing of films by way of background entertainment in public areas of the hotel.

   

  4              There are no restrictions on hours for the playing of recorded music by way of background entertainment in public areas of the hotel.

   

  5              There are no restrictions on the hours for the supply of intoxicants to hotel residents and their private guests.

   

  6              In the event of persons appearing to be under the age of 18 attempting to purchase alcohol, only Council approved forms of identification will be accepted.

   

  7              All licensable activities will be conducted in a way that neither hotel residents nor any other persons in the vicinity of the hotel are adversely affected by the licensable activities.
