Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 No entertainment of an adult nature will take place on the premises.
2 Permitted hours for activities E, F, G, I, J, L and M and the opening hours of the premises shall be extended on 31 October until 0100 the following morning and on 31 December to 0130 the following morning.
3 Intoxicating liquor shall not be sold or supplied on the premises otherwise than to persons taking table meals there and for consumption by such a person as ancillary to his meal.
4 The licence holder and / or DPS is to support and rigorously enforce the Challenge 21 proof of age policy.
Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable:
i. Photo driving licence
ii. Passport
iii. Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card
OR any other nationally or locally approved form of identification which may be introduced in the future.
5 All staff to have received suitable training in relation to the proof of age scheme to be applied upon the premises. Records to evidence this will be made available to an authorised officer upon request.
6 Another member of staff shall be nominated to act for the Designated Premises Supervisor, in their absence, whose identity is known by all other staff when such absence occurs.
7 Suitable beverages other than intoxicating liquor (including drinking water) shall be equally available for consumption, with or otherwise as an ancillary to, meals served in the licensed premises.
8 Noise from any regulated entertainment will be inaudible at the nearest sensitive premises or, at the discretion of the Local Authority, shall not exceed some other pre-agreed limit, which does not cause unreasonable disturbance to neighbouring residents or their guests. Any noise limit agreed with the Local Authority must be controlled by a sound limiter / cut out device installed by a reputable sound engineer.
9 All external windows and doors in the function room will be kept closed during regulated entertainment except in the event of an emergency.
10 The volume of amplified sound used in connection with entertainment shall at all times be under the control of the Licensee or Management and the controlling mechanism shall be operated from a part of the premises inaccessible to the public.
11 In the event of any complaint(s) about noise or odours from any plant or equipment, such as the ventilation system, the licensee shall employ the services of a reputable sound consultant and / or a ventilation engineer to undertake a detailed assessment. A copy of this report shall be made available to Environmental Protection for their comments and approval. Any works shall be carried out in accordance with the assessment and to the satisfaction of the Environmental Services Division.
12 The use of the exterior licensed area will be specifically monitored by CCTV and a member of staff when in use. No regulated entertainment will be provided outside the premises.
13 No unaccompanied children under 14 years will be served food.
