Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 For statutory bank holiday weekend periods (Friday to Monday) and for the Thursday before Good Friday and for Christmas Eve, the finish time for Regulated Entertainment and Late Night Refreshment will be extended by one hour.
2 When door staff are used they will be Security Industry Authority (SIA) approved and operate in accordance with the security industry guidelines.
3 A zero tolerance towards illegal drugs will be enforced at all times.
4 If a disc jockey is used on any night then he / she will ask customers to leave quietly.
5 If a CCTV system is installed at this site, it will continue to operate during the additional hours of trading and notices will be displayed.
6 All instances of crime and disorder will be reported to the police and will be kept in an incident log book.
7 Free drinking water will be available at all times.
8 Additional patrols will take place by members of staff, internally and externally, to limit any pollution when entertainment is being offered within the premises.
9 If appropriate, notices will be displayed asking our customers to respect our neighbours when leaving the premises.
10 Where already used text / radio pagers will continue to be used for the additional hours of trading and will be monitored by a responsible member of staff.
11 Soft drinks and non-alcoholic refreshment will be available if we decide to use the option to stay open for an extended period between the cessation of the supply of alcohol and the closure of the premises.
12 When children are allowed upon the premises, any entertainment offered within the premises will be suitable for young persons.
13 Children will be required to be supervised by the accompanying adult at all times.
14 A no smoking area will be provided.
15 A recognised Proof of Age Policy will be enforced.
16 Noise from any regulated entertainment will be inaudible at the nearest noise sensitive premises or, at the discretion of the Local Authority, shall not exceed some pre-agreed limit, which does not cause unreasonable disturbance to neighbouring residents.
17 The volume of amplified sound used in cinnection with entertainment shall at all times be under the control of the Licensee or Management and the controlling mechanism shall be operated from a part of the premises inaccessible to the public.
18 All external windows, fire doors and internal doors leading into the licensed area which by their opening would allow noise from regulated entertainment to escape externally and cause disturbance to nearby residents, should remain closed during the provision of the said regulated entertainment except when being used as an escape route in the event of an emergency.
19 The removal and movement of rubbish, bottles and beer barrels from the premises and subsequent storage externally to the building prior to collection shall be undertaken between 08.00 and 20.00 hours only to prevent disturbance to local residents from such activities.
20 No nuisance from noise or odour shall be caused to local residents by the use of any ventilation, refrigeration or air conditioning equipment provided or used in association with the licensed premises.
21 Use of the beer garden should be prohibited after 10pm to prevent disturbance to local residents.
22 All staff to have received suitable training in relation to the proof of age scheme to be applied upon the premises. Records to evidence this will be made available to an authorised officer upon request.
23 Appropriate measures will be taken to ensure staff prevent the removal of bottles or glasses from the curtilage and grounds of the licensed premises.
24 Only toughened glass vessels are used to dispense beer to customers.
