Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 No entertainment of an adult nature will take place on the premises.
2 On New Years Eve, permitted hours for Recorded Music, Late Night Refreshment, Supply of Alcohol and the opening hours of the premises shall be extended from the end of permitted hours on New Year's Eve to the beginning of permitted hours on New Year's Day.
3 All staff are trained to comply with the Licensing Act 2003.
4 There will be full health and safety risk assessments.
5 There will be staff training in health and safety and food safety issues as appropriate.
6 There will be internal auditing of staff training.
7 There will be 5 yearly electrical inspections.
8 A comprehensive ventilation sytem will be installed.
9 Pest control systems will be in place.
10 A waste management system will be in place.
11 Risk assessments will be carried out for school visits / children's parties.
12 Noise from any regulated entertainment will be inaudible at the nearest noise sensitive premises or, at the discretion of the Local Authority, shall not exceed some other pre-agreed limit, which does not cause unreasonable disturbance to any nearby noise-sensitive premises.
13 The Licence holder is to support and rigorously enforce a Challenge 21 proof of age policy.
Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable:
i. UK photo driving licence
ii. Passport
iii. Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card
OR any other nationally or locally approved form of identification which may be introduced in the future.
If no suitable identification is provided, sale of alcohol to them will be refused. Signs promoting this policy shall be displayed in the premises.
14 All staff to have received suitable training in relation to the proof of age scheme to be applied upon the premises. Records to evidence this will be made available to an authorised officer upon request.
15 A notice or notices shall be displayed in the premises where they can be clearly seen and read and will indicate that it is unlawful for persons under 18 to purchase alcohol or for any person to purchase alcohol on behalf of a person under 18 years of age.
16 The inside and outside of the premises are to be equipped with a closed circuit television system, which is appropriate to its purpose and provided and maintained to the satisfaction of the enforcement authorities.
17 A staff member who is conversant with the operation of the CCTV system will be on the premises at all times the premises are open to the public. This staff member will be able to show police recent data or footage with the absolute minimum of delay when requested.
18 Appropriate measures will be taken to ensure staff prevent the removal of bottles or glasses from the curtilage and grounds of the licensed premises.
19 Frequent collection of glasses and bottles will be undertaken to ensure that empty containers do not accumulate in or around the licensed premises.
20 The outside seating area is to be clearly defined, with a removable barrier enclosing the tables and chairs.
21 All furniture in the outside area is to be either fixed or, if not fixed, to be removed from the outside after the premises has closed for trading.
22 The supply of intoxicating liquor will be by waiter / waitress service only and only to persons seated at tables.
23 Drinking in the outside area will be from toughened glass or polycarbonate vessels only.
24 Persons who are consuming a table meal in the outside area and are already seated prior to 9pm are permitted to remain outside until 10pm. The outside area is to be closed by 10pm on a daily basis.
