1 No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -
a) At a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence,
or
b) At a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.
2 Every supply of alcohol under the premise licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.
Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 All staff are trained and are aware of licensing legislation, especially in relation to the prevention of underage sales. They are required to sign a register confirming that they have undertaken training and are aware of their responsibilities. Training is repeated at frequent intervals, at least bi-annually. Any person found to be in breach of the company alcohol policy is subject to disciplinary proceedings. Notices are displayed in the premises advising of the licensing legislation.
2 The operators of the premises will maintain a good relationship with the local police and other relevant authorities.
3 Fire safety equipment is provided at the premises to comply with the relevant recognised standards, and staff are trained on the use of this equipment.
4 The operators will comply with any restrictions relating to noise from servicing imposed by the planning department to ensure that no public nuisance is caused to the local residents.
5 If anyone attempting to purchase alcohol appears to be under 18 the on-duty manager is called. The manager will only accept photographic ID as proof of age (passport, photo driving licence or PASS card). If no ID is provided no sale takes place.
