Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 No entertainment of an adult nature will take place on the premises.
2 Entertainment will take place in the Lounge.
3 Late Night Refreshment will be provided in the Lounge and Sun Lounge.
4 Intoxicants to be served in the Dining Room, Lounge, Sun Lounge and Beer Garden for residents only.
5 Intoxicating liquor shall not be sold or supplied on the premises otherwise than to persons residing there or their private friends, bona fide entertained by them at their own expense, and for consumption by such a person, or his private friend, on the premises.
6 The licence holder and/or DPS is to support and rigorously enforce the Challenge 21 Proof of Age Policy.
Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable : photo driving licence; passport; Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card; any other locally or nationally approved form of identification which may be introduced in the future.
7 Noise from any regulated entertainment will be inaudible at the nearest sensitive premises or, at the discretion of the Local Authority, shall not exceed some other pre-agreed limit, which does not cause unreasonable disturbance to neighbouring residents or their guests. Any noise limit agreed with the local authority must be controlled by a sound limiter / cut out device installed and maintained by a reputable sound engineer.
8 The volume of amplified sound used in connection with entertainment shall at all times be under the control of the Licensee or Management and the controlling mechanism shall be operated from a part of the premises inaccessible to the public.
9 All external windows and doors in the function room will be kept closed during regulated entertainment except for access and egress and for use in the event of an emergency.
10 Prominent, clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting the public to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly.
11 The placing of refuse such as bottles into receptacles outside the premises shall not take place after 21.00 hours so as to prevent disturbance to nearby premises.
12 In the event of any complaint(s) about noise or odours from any plant or equipment, such as the ventilation system, the licensee shall employ the services of a reputable sound consultant and/or a ventilation engineer to undertake a detailed assessment. A copy of this report shall be made available to Environmental Protection for their comments and approval. Any works shall be carried out in accordance with the assessment and to the satisfaction of the Environmental Services Division.
