Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 Permitted hours for all licensable activities may be extended by one hour on the Friday and Saturday of 'Pigeon Weekend' and on the weekend of the Illuminations Switch On.
2 The pub manager is required to actively participate in and support the local Pubwatch scheme.
3 Text and / or radio pagers, where already used, will be used for any additional hours.
4 Toughened glass will be used during all opening hours.
5 In line with the company's alcohol and social responsibility policy there will be no promotions that encourage illegal, irresponsible or immoderate consumption.
6 Reasonable steps are to be taken to recognise the rights of local residents and to encourage customers to leave the premises quietly.
7 Managers are required to liaise with local neighbours as part of their duties and resolve any reasonable concerns in accordance with the company's role in the community guidelines.
8 No adult entertainment (paid for by the company of a nude physical nature) is permitted at the premises. Any children under 16 remain the responsibility of the accompanying adult when using the premises. Staff are not allowed to be in sole supervision of children which remains the responsibility of the accompanying adult at all times.
9 Recorded music should be played at a level that will not cause nuisance to adjoining or nearby residents.
10 Before any regulated entertainment may take place the Premises Licence Holder shall provide a sound limiter/cut out device, installed at the premises by a reputable sound engineer and the maximum sound level should be agreed and approved by the Head of Housing and Environmental Protection Services.
11 Noise from any regulated entertainment, mechanical ventilation or refrigeration plant shall be inaudible within the nearest sensitive properties or, at the discretion of the Local Authority, shall not exceed some other pre-agreed limit, which does not cause unreasonable disturbance to the residents of these properties or their guests.
12 All internal doors to any entrance/exit point, fire exit doors and external windows shall be closed during hours of any regulated entertainment except in the event of an emergency, save for the purpose of access and egress.
13 Vibration produced as a result of any regulated entertainment shall not be perceptible in any adjoining or nearby sensitive properties.
14 There shall be placed at all exit points from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, clear and legible notices requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly so as to minimise disturbance to nearby residents.
