• Annex 1 - Mandatory conditions

   

  1              The premise shall be used for the purpose of habitually providing for reward board and lodging, including breakfast and one other at least of the customary main meals.

   

  2              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

   

  a)              At a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence,

   

  or

   

  b)              At a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  3              Every supply of alcohol under the premise licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

  4              Suitable beverages other than intoxicating liquor (including drinking water) shall be equally available for consumption, with or otherwise as an ancillary to, meals served in the licensed premises.

   

  5              Adequate sitting accommodation to be provided in a room not used or to be used for sleeping accommodation, for the service of substantial refreshment or for the supply or consumption of intoxicating liquor.

  Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule

   

  1              Alcohol may be sold or supplied:

   

                Monday to Sunday               12.00 to 15.00

                And                                          17.00 to 00.00

   

  The above restrictions do not prohibit the sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the licensed premises, or the supply of alcohol to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by him at his own expense.

   

  2              The Licence holder is to support and rigorously enforce Challenger 21 proof of age policy.

   

  Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18.  The following are the only forms of identification acceptable: -

   

  i.              UK photo driving licence

  ii.              Passport

  iii.              Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card

   

  3              CCTV installed on the premises.

   

  4              Warnings for customers to exit the premises quietly.

   

  5              The volume of any amplified background music played incidentally to the regulated activity shall at all times be under the control of the licensee or management and the controlling mechanism shall be operated from a part of the premises inaccessible to the public.  Furthermore the noise from the provision of amplified background music shall be inaudible at the nearest noise sensitive property.
