Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 CCTV will be installed at the premises and will comply with thefollowing:
i) The CCTV system shall be installed, maintained and operated to the reasonable satisfaction of Lancashire Constabulary. All public areas of the premises including any outside area are to be covered by the system.
ii) The system will display on any recording the correct time and date of the recording.
iii) The system will make recordings during all hours the premises are open to the public.
iv) Digital recordings shall be held for a minimum of 28 days and will be made available to a Police officer or authorised person on request.
v) A staff member who is conversant with the operation of the CCTV system will be on the premises at all times the premises are open to the public. This staff member will be able to show and reproduce recent data or footage with the absolute minimum of delay when requested by Police.
2 The Licence holder is to support and rigorously enforce the Challenge 25 proof of age policy. Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 25 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18.
The following are the only forms of identification acceptable:
UK photo driving licence
Passport
Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card
Armed forces ID card
3 Challenge 25 posters to be displayed at the premises.
4 All tills shall prompt the cashier making a sale of alcohol to verify that the customer is aged 18 or over.
5 Training to be given in respect of alcohol awareness to all staff engaged in selling alcohol and not just personal licence holders. All new staff to be trained in respect of age restricted products and proof of age system prior to being allowed to operate the checkouts or to make a sale.
6 There shall be documentation proving the provision of proof of age training given to all staff involved in the sale of alcohol.
7 A refusals register will be maintained and produced to a Police Constable or authorised officer on request.
8 All staff to read and sign a declaration that they understand the law each time they start a shift.
9 A personal licence holder to be contactable if requested to do so by a police constable or authorised officer.
10 No alcohol will be sold to anyone who appears to be intoxicated.
11 At least two members of staff on duty after 18.00 hours.
12 No alcohol stocks shall be promoted alongside goods which are likely to appeal to children (e.g. confectionary or toys).
