• Annex 1 - Mandatory conditions

   

  1              The premise shall be used for the purpose of habitually providing for reward board and lodging, including breakfast and one other at least of the customary main meals.

   

  2              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

   

  a)              At a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence,

   

  or

   

  b)              At a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  3              Every supply of alcohol under the premise licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

  4              Suitable beverages other than intoxicating liquor (including drinking water) shall be equally available for consumption, with or otherwise as an ancillary to, meals served in the licensed premises.

  Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule

   

  1              Intoxicating liquor shall not be sold or supplied on the premises otherwise than to persons taking table meals there and for consumption by such a person as ancillary to his meal.

   

                The permitted hours for supply of alcohol are as follows:

   

  a)              Monday to Sunday 1100 - 2345

  b)              The above restrictions do not prohibit the sale or supply of alcohol to any person residing in the licensed premises, or the supply of alcohol to any private friends of a person residing there who are bona fide entertained by him at his own expense.

   

  2              The permitted hours for regulated entertainment are as follows:

   

  a)              Monday to Sunday: 2000 - 2345

  b)              On the Friday to Monday of Easter weekend, plus Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Eve: 1200 to midnight

   

  3              All external windows and doors should be closed during any hours of Regulated Entertainment, except in the case of an emergency.

   

  4              Noise from any Regulated Entertainment or Mechanical Ventilation will be inaudible within the nearest sensitive properties or, at the discretion of the               Local               Authority, shall not exceed some other pre-agreed limit, which does not cause unreasonable disturbance to the residents of these               properties or their guests.

   

  5              The premises will provide 'Proof of age scheme' and appropriate training for staff.

   

  6              The premises shall maintain a responsible drinks pricing policy.

   

  7              Frequent collection of glasses and bottles to ensure that empty containers do not               accumulate in or around the licensed premises.

   

  8              That at least one personal licence holder will be available by telephone or otherwise (whose identity will be known to all other staff engaged in the               supply or sale of alcohol) while the supply or sale of alcohol is being undertaken.             

   

  9              The Licence holder is to support and rigorously enforce Challenger 21 proof of age policy.

   

  Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18.  The following are the only forms of identification acceptable: -

   

  i.              UK photo driving licence

  ii.              Passport

  iii.              Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card
