Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 The non-standard timings for the Provision of Late Night Refreshment are as follows:
a) On Christmas Eve until 02.30 hours the following day
b) On New Years Eve until 03.00 hours the following day
The premises are permitted to open for the same hours, but also until 00.00 hours on Valentines Day when it falls on a Sunday.
2 All staff to be trained with regard to licensing objectives, complying with local authority requirements.
3 No sale of alcohol to persons under 18 years of age.
4 Persons of 17 years of age may have alcohol with a meal when accompanied by an adult.
5 The establishment supports the efforts of the responsible authorities in relation to crime prevention and alcohol awareness, supporting Portman Group campaigns.
6 No drink allowed to be consumed outside the premises.
7 Patrons asked to leave in an orderly manner.
8 Taxi's ordered from inside the restaurant.
9 Customers made aware of taxi rank directly opposite the premises.
10 Children only admitted with adults.
11 All staff to have received suitable training in relation to the proof of age scheme to be applied upon the premises. Records to evidence this will be made available to an authorised officer upon request.
12 Appropriate measures will be taken to ensure staff prevent the removal of bottles or glasses from the curtilage and grounds of the licensed premises.
13 At least one personal licence holder will be available while the supply or sale of alcohol is being undertaken (who’s identity will be known to all other staff engaged in the supply or sale of alcohol) except in the case of emergency.
14 Noise from any Regulated Entertainment, Mechanical Ventilation or Refrigeration Plant shall be inaudible within the nearest sensitive properties or, at the discretion of the Local Authority, shall not exceed some other pre-agreed limit, which does not cause unreasonable disturbance to the residents of these properties or their guests.
15 The volume of amplified sound used in connection with any Regulated Entertainment shall, at all times, be under the control of the Licensee or Management and the controlling mechanism shall be operated from a part of the premises inaccessible to the public.
16 All external doors to any entrance / exit point, fire doors and external windows shall be closed during hours of any Regulated Entertainment except in the event of an emergency, save for the purpose of access and egress.
17 Vibration produced as a result of any Regulated Entertainment shall not be perceptible in any adjoining or nearby sensitive properties.
18 There shall be placed ay all exit points from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, clear and legible notices requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly so as to minimise disturbance to nearby residents.
19 The collection and disposal of bottles and refuse should not take place externally between the hours of 22.00 and 08.00 hours.
20 The Premises Licence holder shall ensure that adequate ventilation is provided so as to ensure that cooking, noxious or persistent smells generated at the premises do not cause nuisance to properties within close proximity.
21 The Premises Licence holder shall provide suitable containers for the storage of waste, which are constructed and maintained to prevent the removal of such waste by vandals, thieves, animals, accidental spillage or inclement weather.
22 Any external light source associated with the premises shall not cause a nuisance or disturbance to any property within close proximity.
