Additional Conditions

• Annex 1 - Mandatory conditions

   

  Alcohol

   

  1              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

   

  a)              At a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence,

   

  or

   

  b)              At a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

   

  2              Every supply of alcohol under the premise licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

  Door Supervision

   

  1              Any individual employed on the premises to carry out a security activity must be licensed by the Security Industry Authority.

   

  Exhibition of films

   

  1              Where the film classification body is specified in the licence, unless (2) applies, admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendations made by that body

   

  2              Where  -

   

  a)              The film classification body is not specified in the licence,

   

  or

   

  b)              The relevant licensing authority has notified the holder of the licence that this condition is applied to the film in question,

   

                Admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that licensing authority.

  Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule

   

  1              An adequate number of registered security personnel will be on duty during any licensable activity taking place on the premises as appropriate to any risk assessment. No less than two to be on duty at any event or function extending beyond 7pm.

   

  2              All areas of the premises are fitted with 24 hour recorded CCTV cameras.

   

  3              Noise from outdoor recorded music will be inaudible at the nearest sensitive premises or, at the discretion of the Local Authority, shall not exceed some other pre-agreed limit, which does not cause unreasonable disturbance to neighbouring residents or their guests.

   

  4              Outdoor events will be restricted to no more than 4 per year and be held between 0900 and 2200, unless the applicant can satisfy the Local Authority that the noise will be inaudible at the nearest sensitive premises.

   

                This would involve a noise assessment to determine the existing background noise levels, and provide information on the noise to be generated by outdoor regulated entertainment - the assessment will follow the guidance provided by the Code of Practice on Environmental Noise Control at Concerts (Noise Council 1995).

                NB. Under this guidance where there are more than 4 events per calendar year the music noise level should not exceed background noise levels.
