Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 Challenge 25 proof of age policy is implemented, and staff are trained to enforce it.
Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 25 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable: -
i. UK photo driving licence
ii. Passport
iii. Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card
2 An incident book will be maintained to record refusal of alcohol sales and any disorder.
3 The premises will be equipped with a CCTV system that covers both the inside and outside of the premises.
4 CCTV cameras are installed, maintained and operated to the satisfaction of Lancashire constabulary. CCTV footage is password protected and stored for 21 days. Notices will be prominently displayed advising customers that CCTV is in operation.
5 The Licence Holder follows the principles of the 'Nightsafe' initiative.
6 External lighting will be provided outside the premises during hours of darkness and maintained regularly.
7 Noise or vibration from the premises will not be audible from the nearest noise sensitive premises.
8 Notices requesting patrons to avoid causing noise nuisance or disturbance to local residents are clearly displayed near the exit(s).
9 A noise management plan will be in operation at the premises.
10 Notices will be prominently displayed advising customers regarding crime prevention. A crime prevention policy agreed by the police and local authority will be in place.
11 Open recepticles of alcohol will not be permitted on the premises.
12 All external windows and doors will remain closed other than for access or egress.
13 Regular checks of the indoor and outdoor areas of the premises will be made by staff.
14 All ventilation and extract systems will be designed and maintained to prevent noxious smells causing a nuisance to nearby properties.
