Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 Non-standard timings for regulated entertainment are as follows :
(i) 24th, 25th, 26th and 31st of December, 08.30 p.m. to 12.30 a.m.
2 Noise from any regulated entertainment will be inaudible at the nearest sensitive premises or, at the discretion of the Local Authority, shall not exceed some other pre-agreed limit, which does not cause unreasonable disturbance to neighbouring residents or their guests.
3 There shall be no audible noise or perceptible vibration through the fabric of the building or structure to any habitable part of any adjoining property. (Habitable part means any part of the building or outdoor space, in substantial use at the time of the entertainment and does not include bathrooms toilets corridors or access lobies).
4 Doors and windows will be kept closed whenever necessary.
5 Prominent, clear and legible notices will be displayed at all exits requesting patrons to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly.
6 For the final hour the music will be discernibly quieter.
7 The volume of amplified sound used in connection with entertainment shall at all times be under the control of the licensee or management.
8 A secure area for resident's personal belongings will be made available.
9 An incident book will be kept and details of all instances of public disorder will be recorded.
10 Means of escape will be maintained unobstructed immediately available and clearly identifiable.
11 Exit doors will be regularly checked to make sure they function satisfactorily.
12 An evacuation policy will be in place that is to the satisfaction of the Fire Authority and all members of stafff will be trained in this policy.
13 The Fire Brigade will be called to any outbreak of fire however slight.
14 Adequate and appropriate first aid equipment and materials will be made available on the premises.
15 At least one suitable trained first aider will be on duty when the public are present.
16 A proof of age policy to the satisfaction of the Police and Local Authority will be in place on the premises.
17 Gaming machines will be in line of sight of the bar.
18 Children will only be allowed in the bar area if accompanied by an adult.
