Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 CCTV system in operation covering all angles of the customer service area and restaurant as well as a camera outside the premises monitoring the entrance and adjoining pavement. The recordings are maintained for the requisite period reqiured by law on a hard disk.
2 All new staff members complete an induction process part of which invloves training in Health and Safety areas.
3 Risks Assessments have been carried out and are carried out on an ongoing basis as and when required.
4 Fire Risk Assessment has been carried out.
5 Electrical, gas and heating installations are inspected and maintained on a regular, planned and ongoing basis.
6 All fixed plant and equippment at the premises that produce significant level of noise are fitted with appropriate means of noise suppression so as to minimize disturbance to any noise sensitive premises. Doors and windows are kept close whenever possible to ensure the breakout of noise as eliminated. Deliveries and collections are scheduled to take place after 09.00 and before 18.00.
7 All ventilation and extraction systems are designed so as to prevent noxious smells causing a nuisance to nearby properties and are inspected and cleaned internally bi-annually. Refuse receptacles are covered and are cleaned with disinfectant every week.
8 Flashing or bright lights are not used on or outside the premises and any security or access lighting is installed so as not to cause a nuisance to nearby properties.
9 Waste is removed from the closed receptacles three times weekly. The containers are kept in an enclosed roofed yard to ensure there is no nuisance to residents or others. Daily litter patrols are carried out in the vicinity of the premises and nearby streets. A record is kept of the litter patrols. Patrols are carried out in daylight for safety reasons.
