Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 Intoxicating liquor shall not be sold or supplied on the premises otherwise than to persons residing in the hotel and their bona fide guests; or to persons taking table meals there and for consumption by such a person as ancillary to his meal.
2 There are no restrictions on the sale of intoxicants to residents of the hotel.
3 The supply of intoxicating liquor to non-residents for consumption on the premises shall be by waiter / waitress service only.
4 The Licence holder is to support and rigorously enforce the Challenge 21 proof of age policy.
Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable:
i. UK photo driving licence
ii. Passport
iii. Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card
OR any other nationally or locally approved form of identification which may be introduced in the future.
5 All staff to have received suitable training in relation to the proof of age scheme to be applied upon the premises. Records to evidence this will be made available to an authorised officer upon request.
6 Suitable beverages other than intoxicating liquor (including drinking water) shall be equally available for consumption, with or otherwise as an ancillary to, meals served in the licensed premises.
7 Noise from any regulated entertainment will be inaudible at the nearest sensitive premises or, at the discretion of the local authority, shall not exceed some other pre-agreed limit which does not cause unreasonable disturbance to neighbouring residents or their guests. Any noise limit agreed with the local authority must be controlled by a sound limiter / cut out device installed by a reputable sound engineer.
8 All external windows and doors in the function room will be kept closed during regulated entertainment except in the event of an emergency.
9 The volume of amplified sound used in connection with entertainment shall at all times be under the control of the licensee or management and the controlling mechanism shall be operated from a part of the premises inaccessible to the public.
10 Any live performances shall be restricted to solo or duet artists and shall not include the use of amplified instruments.
11 The placing of refuse such as bottles into receptacles outside the premises shall not take place after 2100 hours so as to prevent disturbance to nearby premises.
12 The raised patio shall be removed on or before 28th February 2009.
13 CCTV is in operation in the premises.
14 The permitted hours for entertainment and supply of alcohol may be extended on New Year's Eve.
