Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 Noise from any Regulated Entertainment, Mechanical Ventilation and Refrigeration Plant should be inaudible at premises within close proximity.
2 When live or recorded music is played, all reasonable steps will be taken to avoid disturbance to neighbouring properties.
3 Signage shall be displayed at all exits requesting members and bona fide guests to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises quietly.
4 The licence holder shall ensure that the maximum number of persons allowed onto the premises shall not exceed the capacity determined by the Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.
5 CCTV surveillance, with exterior lighting, will monitor arrivals and departures at the Club’s main door and adjacent car parking area.
6 The Licence holder is to support and rigorously enforce Challenger 21 proof of age policy.
Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable: -
i. UK photo driving licence
ii. Passport
iii. Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card
iv. Portman Group Pass Card
7 Persons under the age of 18 are only to be allowed on the premises if accompanied by an adult member or bona fide guest.
8 Children are only permitted to be on the premises until 16.00 hours and then only when taking table meals, or 18.00 hours if attending an organised function.
9 Signage is to be posted in all bar areas prohibiting the direct/indirect supply or delivery of alcohol to children.
10 Committee members, the club steward and bar staff, are to be instructed in the Offences Provisions of The Licensing Act 2003 relating to alcohol and the Protection of Children.
