Additional Conditions

• Annex 1 - Mandatory conditions

   

  1              Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours.  In this condition, permitted hours means:

   

  a)              On Monday to Saturday 11.00 to 01.00 hours the following day,

  b)              On Sundays 11.00 to 00.00 hours,

  c)              On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31st December).

   

  The above restrictions do not prohibit:

   

  a)              During the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the consumption of alcohol on the premises;

  b)              During the first twenty minutes after the above hours, the taking of alcohol from the premises, unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel;

  c)              During the first thirty minutes after the above hours, the consumption of alcohol on the premises by persons taking table meals there if the alcohol was supplied as ancillary to the meals;

  d)              The supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where they are residing.

   

   

• Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule

   

  1              The non-standard timings permitted for the provision of Regulated Entertainment ‘E’, ‘F’, ‘G’, ‘H’, ‘I’, ‘J’ and ‘K’ are:

   

  a)              Boxing Day, New Years Day, Remembrance Sunday and similar war time events (V.E. and V.J. day) 12.00 to 17.00 hours.

   

  2              Noise from any regulated entertainment will be inaudible at the nearest sensitive premises or, at the discretion of the Local Authority, shall not exceed some other pre-agreed limit, which does not cause unreasonable disturbance to neighbouring residents or their guests.

   

  3              The volume of amplified sound used in connection with the entertainment shall be at all times be under the control of the Management and the controlling mechanism shall be operated from a part of the premises inaccessible to the public.

   

  4              All external windows and doors in the function room will be kept closed during regulated entertainment except in the event of an emergency.

   

  5              Regular assessments of the noise coming from the premises during regulated entertainment shall be made and the noise level adjusted accordingly.

   

  6              Prominent, clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting members and bona fide guests to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly.
