Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours. In this condition, permitted hours means:
a) On Monday to Sunday other than New Year’s Eve, 11.00 to 00.00 hours,
b) On New Year’s Eve 11.00 to 01.00 hours the following day,
c) On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31st December).
The above restrictions do not prohibit:
a) During the first thirty minutes after the above hours, the consumption of alcohol on the premises;
2 CCTV surveillance, with exterior lighting, will monitor arrivals and departures at the Club’s main door.
3 Door supervisors will be employed on the premises during the evenings.
4 Club management, stewards and bar staff, are to be instructed in the Licensing Act 2003 objectives and statutory requirements to enable them to comply with relevant provisions of the Act.
5 The licence holder shall ensure that the maximum number of persons allowed onto the premises shall not exceed the capacity determined by the Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.
These are:
Concert Room 300
Games Room 100
Members Lounge 50
Or as otherwise advised by the Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service. It is also the responsibility of the licence holder to notify Blackpool Council’s Licensing Service, in writing, of any amendments to the figures stated above.
6 Signage shall be displayed at all exits requesting members and bona fide guests to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises quietly.
7 When live or recorded music is played, all reasonable steps will be taken to avoid disturbance to neighbouring properties.
8 The volume of amplified sound used in connection with any regulated entertainment shall, at all times, be under the control of the Management and the controlling mechanism shall be operated from a part of the premises inaccessible to the public.
9 All externally opening doors and windows to remain in a closed position during performances of regulated entertainment and that each set of double doors be in the closed position during performances of regulated entertainment.
10 Persons under the age of 18 are only to be allowed on the premises if accompanied by an adult member or bona fide guest.
11 Signage is to be posted in all bar areas prohibiting the direct/indirect supply or delivery of alcohol to children.
12 Committee members, the club steward and bar staff, are to be instructed in the Offences Provisions of The Licensing Act 2003 relating to alcohol and the Protection of Children.
