• an indoor sporting event
• a boxing or wrestling entertainment
• a performance of live music
• any playing of recorded music
• entertainment of a similar description to that falling within a performance of live music, any playing of recorded music or a performance of dance
• the supply of alcohol
• the sale by retail of alcohol

Additional Conditions

• Annex 1 - Mandatory conditions

   

  1              Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours.  In this condition, permitted hours means:

   

  a)              On Monday to Sunday 11.00 to 00.00 hours,

  b)              On Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve 11.00 to 01.00 hours the following day

  b)              On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31st December).

   

  The above restrictions do not prohibit:

   

  a)              During the first sixty minutes after the above hours, the consumption of alcohol on the premises;

  b)              During the first sixty minutes after the above hours, the taking of alcohol from the premises, unless the alcohol is supplied or taken in an open vessel;

  c)              During the first sixty minutes after the above hours, the consumption of alcohol on the premises by persons taking table meals there if the alcohol was supplied as ancillary to the meals;

  d)              The supply to, or consumption by, any person of alcohol in any premises where they are residing.

   

  2              Where the film classification body is specified in the licence, unless (3) applies, admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendations made by that body

   

  3              Where  -

   

  a)              The film classification body is not specified in the licence,

   

  or

   

  b)              The relevant licensing authority has notified the holder of the licence that this condition is applied to the film in question,

  Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule

   

  1              The provision of regulated entertainment is permitted on the following:

   

  a)              'B' is permitted to take place on occasions of significant sporting events.

  b)              'D' is permitted twice a year from is permitted 20.00 to 00.00 hours, when the premises is host to a boxing tournament.

   

  2              The Club shall provide and maintain suitable and sufficient CCTV surveillance systems.

   

  3              CCTV tapes should be kept for a minimum of 31 days.

   

  4              During the final hour of daily trading the licence holder shall ensure that appropriate announcements are made to remind patrons of the need to leave the premises without causing nuisance or disturbance to local residents.

   

  5              The Licence holder is to support and rigorously enforce Challenger 21 proof of age policy.

   

  Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18.  The following are the only forms of identification acceptable: -

   

  i.              UK photo driving licence

  ii.              Passport

  iii.              Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card

   

  6              Noise produced by any Regulated Entertainment, Mechanical Ventilation or Refrigeration Plant should be inaudible at premises within close proximity.
