Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 A CCTV system compliant with police requirements will be installed and will remain operational at all times the premises are open to the public.
2 Registered SIA doormen will be employed on Fridays and Saturdays after 2100 and at other times at the discretion of the premises supervisor.
3 Occupancy shall be limited in accordance with Fire Authority recommendations.
4 Fire exit and emergency signage will be prominently displayed.
5 Signage will be prominently displayed requesting that patrons leaving the premises do so quietly and with respect for residential properties in the area, to wait on the premises for taxis to arrive, to use the taxi rank nearby and to encourage taxi drivers and firms to utilise ring back facility.
6 There will be no children allowed in the concert room on the first floor.
7 The first floor of the premises to be limited to a maximum capacity of 200 persons including staff.
8 Fire alarm to be provided to relevant British standard including automatic detection.
9 Occupancy control to be provided to Fire Authority's satisfaction.
10 Emergency lighting to be checked to ensure compliance with British standard.
11 There shall be no audible noise or perceptible vibration through the fabric of the building or structure to any habitable part of any adjoining premises, including the club premises below. (Habitable part means any part of the building or outdoor space, in substantial use at the time of the entertainment and does not include bathrooms, toilets, corridors or access lobbies).
12 The volume of amplified sound used in connection with entertainment shall at all times be under the control of the licensee or management and the controlling mechanism shall be operated from a part of the premises inaccessible to the public.
13 Prominent, clear and legible notices shall be displayed at all exits requesting the public to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly.
14 Noise from any Regulated Entertainment, Mechanical Ventilation or Refrigeration Plant shall be inaudible within the nearest sensitive properties or, at the discretion of the Local Authority, shall not exceed some other pre-agreed limit, which does not cause unreasonable disturbance to the residents of these properties or their guests.
15 The licensee shall submit to the Council a proposal detailing how they intend to prevent noise breakout through the Perspex windows at the rear of building, this shall have regard to the noise caused by regulated entertainment, and any cooling systems for the new cold room. If sound transmission is likely through the structure of the building to the one below, the proposals shall include details on how this will be eradicated. The proposals shall be agreed with the Local Authority and any necessary works completed.
16 The placing of refuse such as bottles into receptacles outside the premises shall not take place at the following specified times so as to prevent disturbance to nearby premises: 22.00 hours to 08.00 hours
17 The collection and disposal of any waste / refuse should not take place externally between the hours of 22.00 hours and 08.00 hours.
18 The licensee shall ensure that staff arriving before 09.00 hours or departing late at night when the business has ceased trading conduct themselves in such a manner to avoid disturbances to nearby residents.
