Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 Intoxicants to be sold/supplied only to persons taking meals at the premises.
2 All staff to have received suitable training in relation to the proof of age scheme to be applied upon the premises. Records to evidence this will be made available to an authorised officer upon request.
3 The premises are to be equipped with a closed circuit television system, which is appropriate to its purpose and provided and maintained to the satisfaction of the enforcement Authorities - to take effect from the 1st March 2006.
4 Appropriate measures will be taken to ensure staff prevent the removal of bottles or glasses from the curtilage and grounds of the licensed premises.
5 At least one personal licence holder will be available while the supply or sale of alcohol is being undertaken (whose identity will be known to all other staff engaged in the supply or sale of alcohol) except in the case of emergency.
6 The premises are operated in accordance with the principles outlined by the ‘Nightsafe’ Scheme, as are relevant to those premises, and indicated in the associated leaflet.
7 Risk assessments carried out by or on behalf of the Licence holder which relate to a licensing objective will be available for inspection by an officer or a Responsible Authority.
8 A clear, legible and conspicuous notice requesting patrons to avoid causing noise, nuisance or disturbance to local residents shall be displayed at every exit.
9 Frequent collection of all litter dropped within the vicinity of the licensed premises to be collected and removed at the licence holder's expense at a frequency of not more than 60 minute intervals during opening hours. This includes washing away to the gutter any spilled food.
10 The volume of any recorded music shall not be played at a level that predominates over other activities within the premise and in turn, shall not cause a nuisance or disturbance to any property within close proximity.
11 The Premises Licence holder shall ensure that adequate ventilation is provided so as to ensure that cooking, noxious or persistent smells generated at the premises do not cause nuisance to properties within close proximity.
12 The Premises Licence holder shall provide suitable containers for the storage of waste, which are constructed and maintained to prevent the removal of such waste by vandals, thieves, animals, accidental spillage or inclement weather.
13 The collection and disposal of any waste/refuse should not take place externally between the hours of 2200 and 0800 hours.
14 Any external light source associated with the premises shall not cause a nuisance or disturbance to any property within close proximity.
15 The licence holder will ensure a 'no proof - no sale' policy in relation to alcohol sales. The only acceptable forms of proof of age are as follows :
(i) Photo driving licence
(ii) Passport
(iii) PASS accredited proof of age card.
