This premises licence shall be operated in conjunction with the attached event document (Appendix Lic/1).
Before any Regulated Entertainment may take place, the applicant shall employ the services of a reputable sound consultant to undertake a detailed noise assessment, which should then be furnished to the Environmental Services Division for their comments and recommendations. The assessment shall have regard to any external noise that may be produced and any remedial works/sound attenuation that may be required, and should also consider the requirements of the Code of Practice on Environmental Noise Control at Concerts, The Noise Council 1995.
Any necessary sound attenuation works should be carried out in accordance with the noise assessment and to the satisfaction of the Head of Environmental Services.
Noise from any Regulated Entertainment shall be inaudible within the nearest sensitive properties or, at the discretion of the Local Authority, shall not exceed some other pre-agreed limit, which does not cause unreasonable disturbance to the residents of these properties or their guests.
The Licensee shall ensure that the requirements of the Code of Practice on Environmental Noise Control at Concerts, The Noise Council 1995, are adhered to all times.
The volume of amplified sound used in connection with any Regulated Entertainment shall, at all times, be under the control of the Licensee or Management and the controlling mechanism shall be operated from a designated area that is inaccessible to the public.
Vibration produced as a result of any Regulated Entertainment shall not be perceptible in any adjoining or nearby sensitive properties.
The Licensee shall provide suitable receptacles for the storage of waste and ensure that these receptacles are constructed and maintained in such a way that they prevent the breaking open of the same and removal of the waste by vandals, thieves, animals, accident or weather.
