Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 The Licence holder will support and rigorously enforce the Challenge 21 proof of age policy.
Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable:
i. UK photo driving licence
ii. Passport
iii. Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card
2 CCTV cameras will be installed inside and outside the premises, with video recordings kept for a minimum of 7 days.
3 Regular checks of fire exits will be undertaken to ensure that they are kept clear, and all staff will be suitably trained in fire procedures.
4 Regular inspections will be made for broken glass and / or spillages, which will be cleaned up as necessary.
5 Reasonable occupancy limits will be determined for the premises and entry will be restricted during busy periods to prevent overcrowding.
6 Staff will ensure queues outside the premises will be kept to a minimum so as to avoid disturbance to residents.
7 Lighting from the premises will not be directed towards residential properties.
8 Commercial waste from the premises will be cleared on a regular basis so as not to cause nuisance to local residents.
9 Notices will be displayed and staff will remind patrons of the need to leave the premises quietly.
10 A refusals book will be kept at the premises.
