Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 Thorough staff training to ensure our team is well-informed about our operational standards and emergency procedures.
2 The use of CCTV and other security measures will be employed to deter criminal activities and monitor the premises.
3 Maintaining detailed incident logbooks to meticulously record any occurrences, enabling us to continuously improve our responses and strategies.
4 Robust staff training focused on conflict resolution and the identification of potential security threats.
5 Establish strict policies to prevent any disorderly behavior and collaborate closely with local law enforcement for guidance and support.
6 The premises will be maintained to high safety standards, ensuring clear emergency exits, proper lighting, and safety signage.
7 Regular checks of equipment and facilities to ensure they are in safe working condition.
8 Ensure that guests act in a responsible way and with limited noise when leaving the premises. Additionally, we'll ensure that any queues are managed efficiently to prevent obstruction or inconvenience. These measures aim to minimize our impact on the local community and maintain a harmonious relationship with our neighbours.
9 Clear signage indicating any age restrictions and train our staff rigorously to adhere to these policies, including verifying ages when necessary.
10 The layout and operation of our premises will provide a safe and secure environment for all patrons, with particular attention to areas accessible to children.
11 No entertainment of an adult nature will take place on the premises.
12 No persons under the age of 18 will be allowed on the premises after 23.00 hours.
13 CCTV will be installed internally and externally at the premises and will comply with the following:
The CCTV system shall be installed, maintained, and operated to the reasonable satisfaction of Lancashire Constabulary. All public areas of the premises are to be covered by the system.
The system will display on any recording the correct time and date of the recording.
The system will make recordings during all hours the premises are open to the public.
14 Digital recordings shall be held for a minimum of 31 days after the recording is made and will be made available to the Police or any authorised persons acting for a Responsible Authority for inspection upon request.
15 The system will, as a minimum, record images of the head and shoulders of all persons entering the premises.
16 A staff member who is conversant with the operation of the CCTV system will be on the premises at all times when the takeaway is open to the public. This person will be able to show police recent data or footage with the minimum of delay when requested. This data or footage reproduction should be almost instantaneous.
17 A responsible person appointed by the licence holder will be available on the premises during the hours the licensable activity is taking place.
18 There will be at least 1 SIA registered member of door staff on duty at the premises from 1am until closing every Saturday and Sunday morning, and on any Bank Holiday, including Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.
19 A risk assessment will be carried out by the licence holder to consider the need for additional door supervisors at busier periods. At all times there will be adequate door staff at the premises as appropriate to this risk assessment.
