Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 The premises are to be equipped with a CCTV system that will monitor inside and outside the store.
2 The licence holder(s) will fully co-operate with the police on any current and new initiatives i.e. Nightsafe, Radio Link and the On Street Drinking Ban.
3 Staff training will incorporate health & safety matters including Fire Extinguishers & Fire procedures.
4 A bin will be placed outside the premises for rubbish. Staff duties will include keeping the outside areas litter free.
5 Panic buttons will be located behind the counter for use in an emergency. The alarm system will be linked to Red Care.
6 Deliveries will be between the store opening hours (with exception to unforeseen circumstances).
7 Delivery drivers are to be asked to switch off their engines during deliveries.
8 The Licence holder is to support and rigorously enforce Challenge 21 or similar company policy proof of age policy.
Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable: -
i. UK photo driving licence
ii. Passport
iii. Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card
9 Age restricted products will be situated in view of counter staff.
10 A sign will be placed near the exit asking customers to leave without causing disturbance to local residents.
11 A log will be kept to record any incidents that take place on the premises.
12 A record of when staff ask for identification and/or refuse a sale will be kept.
13 All staff training will be documented. These records will be available for inspection by authorised officers.
