Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 Non-standard timings:
a) For activity E and the sale/supply of alcohol an additional 60 minutes on the Sunday of the Spring, May, Easter and August Bank Holidays. The opening hours of the premises shall be extended until 00.30 on these occasions.
b) On New Year’s Eve for activity E, the sale/supply of alcohol and the opening hours of the premises, from the end of permitted hours on New Year’s Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day.
2 Those persons attending the premises are caravan owners only.
3 Any existing level of lighting outside the premises will continue.
4 The premises is to be equipped with a CCTV system that will be in operation 24 hours a day. All recordings are to be retained for a month.
5 A Resort Security team is to be on duty from 17.00 to 09.00 and will remain in radio contact with each other and the with the entertainment venues and bars on the caravan park.
6 No customer will be allowed to bring alcohol in open or sealed bottles on to the premises.
7 Tables will be cleared of all empty bottles and glasses on a regular basis.
8 Only a picture driving licence or a passport will be accepted as proof of age.
9 If required crime prevention notices will be displayed in the premises warning customers of any prevalent crime that may affect them.
10 All staff who work behind the bar will be fully trained to ensure that no person who is drunk or disorderly or who appears to be under the age of 18 is served with intoxicating liquor.
11 Consideration will be given to fixing a capacity limit after consultation with the fire service where there is no fire certificate.
12 There shall be a suitable number of adequately trained staff to ensure the safe evacuation of people from the premises in the event of an emergency such staff will have been issued with specific duties in the event of an emergency.
13 All staff shall have received shall have received training on the safe evacuation of the premises in the event of an emergency.
14 Adequate arrangements will be made in the Fire Evacuation Plan to ensure the safe evacuation of any customers in the event of an emergency.
15 All fire escape routes shall be kept unobstructed and will be clearly identifiable.
16 All escape doors and escape routes will be checked before the premises open for trading to the public.
17 All fire exit doors shall be available and shall be capable of opening without the use of any key, card, code or similar means.
18 Fire doors will be self closing and shall not be held open other than by devices approved by the fire service or health and safety department.
19 Edges to steps and stairways shall be maintained as to be conspicuous.
20 Hangings, curtains and temporary decorations shall be maintained in a flame retardant condition and shall not obstruct fire exits, fire safety signs or fire fighting equipment.
21 Any upholstered seating shall comply with current fire safety regulations.
22 Notices detailing the action to be taken in the event of fire or other emergency will be prominently displayed in the premises.
23 Access will be provided for the emergency services and will be kept clear and free from obstruction.
24 Fire evacuation tests will be carried out every 6 months and a record maintained of those tests.
25 All fire fighting equipment will be maintained in good working order and shall be available for immediate use.
26 At least one first-aider will be on duty and if there are more than one on duty their roles will be clearly defined.
27 All emergency lighting and fire safety signage will be maintained in good working order and will not be altered without the approval of the Fire Authority.
28 An adequate supply of free drinking water shall be provided for all customers.
29 Reasonable steps will be taken to recognise the need of local residents and to encourage customers to leave quietly.
30 All staff working in the entertainment venues or security staff must provide Bourne Leisure Limited with a Criminal Record Bureau Check.
