Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 Children will be permitted on the premises only when accompanied by a responsible adult where appropriate. Staff will maintain a safe and secure environment for all customers at all times. Any anti-social behaviour, abusive language, or inappropriate conduct towards children or families will not be tolerated. Staff will also ensure that the premises remains clean, safe, and suitable for families and young persons.
2 CCTV shall be installed internally and externally at the premises, it shall be maintained and operated to the reasonable satisfaction of Lancashire Constabulary.
All public areas of the premises will be covered by the system.
The system will incorporate a camera covering all entrances and will be capable of providing an image which is regarded as identification standard.
The system will display on any recording the correct time and date of the recording.
The system will make recordings during all hours the premises are open to the public. Recordings shall be held for a minimum of 30 days and will be made available to the Police or any authorised person upon request.
A staff member who is conversant with the operation of the CCTV system will be on the premises at all times the premises are open to the public. This staff member will be able to show recent data or footage immediately when requested by Police or an authorised person.
They will also be able to provide to the requesting person, evidential quality footage, either electronically uploaded or onto a physical storage device. This must be done with the absolute minimum of delay and in any event before a maximum of 7 days have elapsed.
3 The premises licence holder and staff will take all reasonable and practical steps to promote the licensing objectives at all times. The premises will operate as a well-managed food takeaway business serving the public responsibly and safely.
4 The supervisor and staff will take all necessary steps to de-escalate and mitigate potential disorder that might occur on the property to allow a safe enviroment not only for the staff but the public surrounding. Any incidents of anti-social behaviour will be dealt with appropriately and, where necessary, reported to the police.
5 The premises will comply with all relevant health and safety and fire safety legislation. Staff will be trained appropriately and the premises will be kept clean, safe, and free from hazards to customers and staff. Staff have and will always put the safety of the public and themselves first.
6 Staff will monitor noise levels and customers will be encouraged to leave the area quietly and respectfully. Waste will be disposed of responsibly and the premises frontage will be kept clean and tidy. Staff will continuously manage waste by providing bins for customers and clearing any litter surrounding the property, helping to maintain a safe, clean, and pleasant environment.
7 We closely monitor customer behaviour to help prevent noise disturbances in the surrounding area and encourage customers to vacate the premises promptly late at night to minimise any disruption.
