Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 The licensee shall ensure that cooking, noxious or persistent smells generated at the premises do not cause nuisance to nearby properties, and that the premises shall be adequately ventilated to the satisfaction of the Head of Environmental Services.
2 The placing of refuse such as bottles into receptacles outside the premises shall take place between 0800 and 2200 so as to prevent disturbance to nearby premises.
3 The licence holder shall erect and maintain in a prominent position at every exit a clear and conspicuous notice, requesting patrons to avoid causing noise, nuisance or disturbance to local residents.
4 The licensee shall ensure that staff arriving before 0900 or departing late at night when the business has ceased trading conduct themselves in such a manner to avoid disturbances to nearby residents.
5 Noise from any regulated entertainment will be inaudible at the nearest sensitive premises or, at the discretion of the Local Authority, shall not exceed some other pre-agreed limit, which does not cause unreasonable disturbance to neighbouring residents or their guests. Any noise limit agreed with the Local Authority must be controlled by a sound limiter / cut out device installed by a reputable sound engineer.
6 All external windows and doors in the function room will be kept closed during regulated entertainment except in the event of an emergency.
7 The volume of amplified sound used in connection with entertainment shall at all times be under the control of the Licensee or Management and the controlling mechanism shall be operated from a part of the premises inaccessible to the public.
8 A specific health and safety policy for this premise and its intended workplace activities must be submitted to the satisfaction of the Health and Safety Enforcement Group of Blackpool Council. A copy of this document must be available onsite at all times. The premises must comply at all times with the requirements of this policy.
9 The premises licence holder and DPS shall hold records readily available to demonstrate that all staff are suitably trained in the promotion of the four licensing objectives and have a working knowledge of the operating schedule in relation to the premises.
10 Risk assessments carried out by or on behalf of the Licence Holder which relate to the four licensing objectives will be available for inspection by an officer or a Responsible Authority.
11 The premises are covered by CCTV.
12 No unaccompanied children will be allowed on the premises.
13 The Challenge 21 and Nightsafe policies have been adopted for use at the premises.
14 The outside seating area may not be used after 2300 hours.
15 Beer is to be dispensed in toughened glasses.
16 The fire alarm system installed at the premises is to be checked every week.
17 No bottles are allowed to leave the curtilage of the premises.
