Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 No entertainment of an adult nature will take place on the premises.
2 The premises are to be equipped with a closed circuit television system which meets the criteria detailed in Lancashire Constabulary's Guidance Document CCTV/AW1 (attached) and which is well maintained and fully functional during the hours the premises are open to members of the public.
3 The premises have installed a wall-mounted screen, no smaller than 32", mounted in a prominent position within the premises, so that patrons can view live-recorded CCTV footage.
4 CCTV tapes shall be retained for 31 days and recordings shall be made available to the Police upon request.
5 At any time the premises are open to the public between 3am and 5am, the premises licence holder shall employ at least one registered door supervisor on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
6 The door supervisors shall wear reflective identification as approved by Lancashire Constabulary.
7 Any individual employed on the premises to carry out a security activity must be licensed by the SIA.
8 Frequent collection of all litter dropped within the vicinity of the licensed premises to be collected and removed, at the licence holder's expense, at a frequency of not less than 60 minute intervals during opening hours. This includes washing away to the gutter any spilled food.
9 The premises licence holder shall provide suitable containers for the storage of waste, which are constructed and maintained to prevent the removal of such waste by vandals, thieves, animals, accidental spillage or inclement weather. This shall include any external waste receptacles provided for the disposal of all discarded smoking related litter, so as to prevent waste litter being deposited onto the highway.
10 The licensee shall ensure that cooking, noxious or persistent smells generated at the premises do not cause nuisance to nearby properties, and that the premises shall be adequately ventilated to the satisfaction of the Head of Environmental Services.
11 Noise from any mechanical ventilation or refrigeration plant shall be inaudible within the nearest sensitive properties or, at the discretion of the Local Authority, shall not exceed some other pre-agreed limit, which does not cause unreasonable disturbance to the residents of these properties or their guests.
12 There shall be placed at all exit points from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, clear and legible notices requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly so as to minimise disturbance to nearby residents.
13 The collection and disposal of bottles and refuse should not take place externally between the hours of 2200 and 0800.
14 Any external light source associated with the premises shall not cause a nuisance or disturbance to any property within close proximity.
15 All external smoking areas provided for the premises shall be located in such a position, so that any associated use does not cause a nuisance to any noise sensitive properties.
