Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 No entertainment of an adult nature will take place on the premises.
2 On no more than six occasions per calendar year, with at least 2 weeks' notice to both the Licensing Authority and the Police, the permitted hours for regulated entertainment may be extended, subject to Police approval.
3 Where applicable, events are organised in accordance with guidelines as set out in the Event Safety Guide.
4 All events will be family friendly. All events and activities will be risk assessed and reasonable precautions and measures taken. Risk assessments will be carried out by the Licence Holder for every event and will be available for inspection by an officer or a Responsible Authority.
5 The licence holder will ensure adequate First Aid cover (according to risk assessment) is available at all times events are taking place.
6 The Licence Holder will ensure adequate numbers of Stewards (according to risk assessment) are on duty wherever an event is taking place.
7 At the end of each event, where possible, announcements will be made to remind the public of the need to leave the area without causing annoyance, nuisance or disturbance to local residents.
8 The volume of amplified sound used in connection with entertainment shall at all times be under the control of the Licence Holder and the controlling mechanism shall be operated from an area inaccessible to the public.
9 The use of explosives, pyrotechnics and fireworks of a similar nature, which could cause disturbance in surrounding areas shall be restricted in accordance with requirements specified by the Council.
10 If the events will create noise levels in excess to the background noise level, the licence holder will undertake a noise assessment and will comply with the guidance provided by the Code of Practice on Environmental Noise Control at Concerts (Noise Council 1995).
11 A clearly signposted lost children station will be set up during events.
12 Stewards and staff must be subject to CRB clearance before working at events.
