Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 No entertainment of an adult nature will take place on the premises.
2 CCTV cameras will be situated in four positions throughout the premises.
3 The premises will participate in the 'Radiolink' scheme.
4 The maximum capacity of the premises is 70 people.
5 Fire exits shall be clearly marked. There shall be adequate lighting on stair areas and around the premises.
6 Children under sixteen are to be accompanied by an adult.
7 There will be substantial refreshment available at all times the premises are open for trade.
8 The primary purpose of the premises shall be that of a cafe serving food, with the sale of alcohol secondary.
9 The supply of intoxicating liquor will be by waiter / waitress service only and only to persons seated at tables.
10 Off sales from the premises shall be in sealed containers only. Any unfinished bottles of wine must be recorked before being taken away from the confines of the licensed area.
11 The Licence holder is to support and rigorously enforce the Challenge 21 proof of age policy.
Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable:
i. UK photo driving licence
ii. Passport
iii. Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card
OR any other nationally or locally approved form of identification which may be introduced in the future.
12 All staff to have received suitable training in relation to the proof of age scheme to be applied upon the premises. Records to evidence this will be made available to an authorised officer upon request.
13 Another member of staff shall be nominated to act for the Designated Premises Supervisor, in their absence, whose identity is known by all other staff when such absence occurs.
14 Frequent collection of glasses and bottles will be undertaken to ensure that empty containers do not accumulate in or around the licensed premises.
15 The licence holder shall erect and maintain signage on or adjacent to all exits advising patrons of the Street Drinking Order and that drinks may not be consumed outside the confines of the licensed area.
16 Suitable beverages other than intoxicating liquor (including drinking water) shall be equally available for consumption with, or otherwise as an ancillary to, meals served in the licensed premises.
