Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 No entertainment of an adult nature will take place on the premises.
2 Licensed for the sale by retail of alcohol for consumption OFF the premises only.
3 Alcohol shall not be sold in an open container or be consumed in the licensed premises.
4 The premises are to be equipped with a closed circuit television system which meets the criteria detailed in Lancashire Constabulary's Guidance Document CCTV/AW1*, and which is well maintained and fully functional during the hours the premises are open to members of the public. (*Guidance document CCTV/AW1 available from Blackpool Council Licensing Service).
5 A staff member who is conversant with the operation of the CCTV system will be on the premises at all times that the shop is open to the public. This staff member will be able to show police recent data or footage with the absolute minimum of delay when requested. This data or footage reproduction should be almost instantaneous.
6 The licence holder is to support and rigorously enforce the Challenge 21 Proof of Age policy. Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable : photo driving licence; passport; Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card; any other locally or nationally approved form of identification which may be introduced in the future.
7 All staff to have received suitable training in relation to the proof of age scheme to be applied upon the premises. Records to evidence this will be made available to an authorised officer upon request.
8 Arrangements shall be put in place to ensure that waste collection contractors do not collect refuse between 2000 and 0800.
9 There shall be no emission from the premises of any offensive smells, which are likely to cause a nuisance.
10 There shall be provided at the premises containers for the storage and disposal of waste foods abd other refuse from the premises.
11 Where the premises provides food to the public for consumption on or off the premises, there will be provided outside the premises, at or near the exits, sufficient waste bins to enable the disposal of waste food, food containers, wrappings and other litter.
12 A notice or notices shall be displayed in and at the entrance to the premises where they can be seen and read which shall indicate that it is unlawful for persons under 18 to purchase alcohol or for any person to purchase alcohol on behalf of a person under 18 years of age.
