Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 No entertainment of an adult nature will take place on the premises.
2 The premises shall be used for the provision of main meals at midday or in the evening or both to persons frequenting the premises.
3 Intoxicating liquor shall be sold or supplied only to persons who are seated at tables or to persons who are waiting to be seated at a table or have had a table meal.
4 Suitable beverages other than alcohol will be available for consumption.
5 No person to be admitted to the premises after 23.00 save for those who have attended that day for a meal and are being re-admitted to the premises.
6 There will be frequent collection of glasses and other containers.
7 A clear, legible sign will be displayed at every exit warning customers not to cause noise, nuisance or disturbance to local residents.
8 Any regulated entertainment will take place on the ground floor only.
9 The volume of amplified sound shall be inaudible at the nearest sensitive premises.
10 The ground floor will have a maximum capacity of 60 persons. There shall be seating for 40 persons on the ground floor.
11 No person under the age of 18 will be allowed on the premises unaccompanied by an adult.
12 All staff to have received proof of age training and evidence of such to be maintained and be available to authorised officers on request.
13 Meals and substantial refreshment will be available at all times the premises are open to the public.
14 At least one personal licence holder will be available (i.e. contactable by telephone at all times the premises are open and able to attend the premises within 30 minutes of the call) while the supply or sale of alcohol is being undertaken (whose identity will be known to all other staff engaged in the supply or sale of alcohol) except in the case of emergency.
15 Another member of staff shall be nominated to act for the Designated Premises Supervisor, in their absence, whose identity is known by all other staff when such absence occurs.
16 The licence holders and DPS are to support and rigorously enforce the Challenge 21 Proof of Age Policy.
Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable:
i. Photo driving licence
ii. Passport
iii. Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card
OR any other nationally or locally approved form of identification which may be introduced in the future.
