Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 No entertainment of an adult nature will take place on the premises.
2 CCTV will be installed at the premises. Said CCTV system shall:
i. Be maintained in proper working order,
ii. Display the correct time and date of any recording on said recording,
iii. Be recording at all times during which the premises is open to the public.
3 CCTV recordings will be held for a period of no less than fourteen days from the date they are recorded and will be made available to an authorised officer upon request.
4 A4 notices will be prominently displayed both inside and outside the premises stating that CCTV is in operation.
5 A register will be maintained at the premises detailing each occasion on which the sale of alcohol is refused.
6 A system of till prompts for all age related products will be installed at the premises and will be used during all transactions.
7 There will be adequate lighting installed in the external areas of the premises to reduce any dimly lit areas.
8 Notices will be erected prominently at the public exit of the premises requesting customers to respect local residents and keep any noise to a minimum.
9 The external areas of the premises will be kept clean and tidy with suitable receptacles for waste being provided.
10 There will be a written 'Challenge 25' policy in place at the premises which will be in operation at all times. The Policy will require that any person who looks under the age of 25 and who attempts to purchase alcohol is refused service if they are unable to produce identification to prove that they are over the age of eighteen. Only the following will be deemed acceptable forms of identification:
i. Passport
ii. Photo driving licence
iii. PASS accredited proof of age card
iv. Any other form of identification agreed with Blackpool Police Licensing Unit
11 Signage promoting the 'Challenge 25' policy will be prominently displayed at the public entrance to the premises and in the areas in which alcohol is displayed.
12 All staff will successfully complete training in relation to the 'Challenge 25' policy prior to commencing employment and refresher training will be completed no less than once every three months. Said training will be fully documented and will be made available to an authorised officer upon request.
13 No licensable activity will be carried on at the premises unless and until an asbestos assessment has been carried out in accordance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006.
