Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 A CCTV system is installed that is capable of continuously recording for a period of not less than 31 days. Recordings will be made of all trading periods and the system will be able to produce copies of recordings on site. Such copies shall be provided on request to an officer under the direction and control of the Police or an officer of the Licensing Authority.
2 The DPS will take such steps as are necessary to ensure that the CCTV system is operated and maintained in accordance with the above condition.
3 Procedures will be established to prevent noise nuisance from deliveries.
4 Measures will be in place to ensure the proper disposal of all waste.
5 A written log shall be kept of all refusals including refusals to sell alcohol. The holder of the premises licence shall ensure that the refusals log is properly maintained and this shall involve, but is not limited to, nominating in writing a responsible person to check and sign it on a weekly basis.
6 The holder of the premises licence shall ensure that every individual who appears to be under 25 years of age seeking to purchase or be supplied with alcohol at or from the premises shall produce means of identification - passport, photo driving licence or PASS accredited photo ID - proving that the individual to be 18 years of age or older. If the person seeking alcohol is unable to produce acceptable means of identification, no sale or supply of alcohol will be made to or for that person.
7 All staff shall be trained to challenge every individual who appears to be under 25 years of age and to refuse service where individuals cannot produce acceptable means of identification. Such training shall be provided not less than every six months, and written records shall be kept of all training and refresher training.
8 'Challenge 25' posters shall be displayed in prominent positions at the premises.
9 An authorisation of sales, signed and dated by the DPS, shall be kept at the premises showing all persons authorised by them to make sales of alcohol at the premises.
10 Whenever the DPS is not at the premises another person shall be nominated by them to be the responsible person to manage the premises. If that person is not a Personal Licence Holder then they shall be sufficiently trained in licensing matters and be fully competent to deal with all licensing issues that may arise at the premises. This person's training shall be documented and available for inspection by Police or Council officers.
11 No alcohol shall be sold in single cans.
12 No beer or cider may be sold with an ABV above 5.5%.
13 Signage will be displayed at the exit of the premises to remind customers that drinking on the street is prohibited.
14 All alcohol to be displayed on bays immediately adjacent to the tills and no closer than 6 metres from the nearest door giving access to or egress from the premises.
15 No more than 3 linear metres of such display to be used for the display of alcohol.
16 The finish time for the supply of alcohol and the opening hours of the premises shall be extended to 20.00 hours on Monday to Saturday on the 14 days prior to 25 December.
