Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 No entertainment of an adult nature will take place on the premises.
2 The Licence holder is to support and rigorously enforce the Challenge 21 proof of age policy.
Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable:
i. UK photo driving licence
ii. Passport
iii. Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card
3 Intoxicating liquor shall not be sold or supplied on the premises otherwise than to persons residing there or their private friends, bona fide entertained by them at their own expense, and for consumption by such a person or his private friend, on the premises.
4 Noise from any regulated entertainment will be inaudible at the nearest sensitive premises or, at the discretion of the Local Authority, shall not exceed some other pre-agreed limit, which does not cause unreasonable disturbance to neighbouring residents or their guests. Any noise limit agreed with the Local Authority must be controlled by a sound limiter / cut out device installed by a reputable sound engineer.
5 All external windows and doors in the function room will be kept closed during regulated entertainment except in the event of an emergency.
6 The volume of amplified sound used in connection with entertainment shall at all times be under the control of the Licensee or Management and the controlling mechanism shall be operated from a part of the premises inaccessible to the public.
7 The placing of refuse such as bottles into receptacles outside the premises shall not take place after 2200 so as to prevent disturbance to nearby premises.
8 The hotel is open from March 1st to November 7th each year.
9 Children are not permitted in the bar area after 2200.
10 A 'dry lounge' is provided at the premises.
11 Notices will be displayed at the entrance of the premises advising patrons not to take drinks outside. This policy will be strictly enforced.
12 Glasses and bottles will be cleared away frequently.
13 Fire alarm points and fire exits are clearly signposted.
14 Notices will be displayed requesting patrons do not cause noise nuisance to nearby properties when leaving the premises.
