Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
Intoxicants to be sold only to bona fide guests attending organised functions not organised by the Premises Licence Holder.
There shall be no restrictions on the sale of alcohol to residents of the hotel and their private friends.
There shall not be any audible noise or perceptible vibration through the fabric of the building or structure to a habitable part of any adjoining property. (Habitable part means any part of the building or outdoor space, in substantial use at the time of the entertainment. It does not include bathrooms, toilets, corridors or access lobbies.
Noise from any regulated entertainment must not be audible at the nearest noise sensitive premises.
At least one personal licence holder will be available / contactable while the supply or sale of alcohol is being undertaken (who's identity will be known to all other staff engaged in the supply or sale of alcohol) except in the case of emergency.
Another member of staff shall be nominated to act for the DPS, in their absence, whose identity is known by all other staff when such absence occurs.
During the final hour of daily trading appropriate announcements are made or images are projected to remind patrons of the need to leave the premises without causing annoyance, nuisance or disturbance to local residents and to advise patrons of any taxi free-phone or collection arrangements available upon the premises.
The volume of amplified sound used in connection with entertainment shall at all times be under the control of the licensee or management and the controlling mechanism shall be operated from a part of the premises inaccessible to the public.
Frequent collection of glasses and bottles will be undertaken to ensure that empty containers do not accumulate in or around the licensed premises.
A CCTV system will be installed and be operational to the satisfaction of the Police and Local Authority. Recordings will be maintained for an appropriate period of time to be agreed with the Police and Local Authority. A notice will be displayed at the entrance advising patrons that CCTV is in operation.
Alcoholic and soft drinks will be served in plastic or toughened glasses.
A proof of age policy will be in force at the premises.
An evacuation policy will be in place to the satisfaction of the Fire Authority. All staff members are to be trained in evacuation procedures.
Adequate and appropriate supplies of first aid materials will be kept on the premises.
Prominent, clear and legible notices will be displayed at all exits requesting patrons to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly.
