Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 No entertainment of an adult nature will take place on the premises.
2 Intoxicating liquor shall not be sold or supplied on the premises otherwise than to persons residing there or their private friends, bona fide entertained by them at their own expense, and for consumption by such a person, or his private friend, on the premises.
3 The Licence holder is to support and rigorously enforce the Challenge 21 proof of age policy.
Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable:
i. Photo driving licence
ii. Passport
iii. Proof of Age Standards Scheme Card
OR any other nationally or locally approved form of identification which may be introduced in the future.
4 All staff to have received suitable training in relation to the proof of age scheme. Records to evidence this will be made available to an authorised officer upon request.
5 The premises are to be equipped with a closed circuit television system which meets the criteria detailed in Lancashire Constabulary's Guidance Document CCTV/AW1*, and which is well maintained and fully funtional during the hours the premises are open to members of the public.

6 Noise from any regulated entertainment will be inaudible at the nearest sensitive properties or, at the discretion of the Local Authority, shall not exceed some other pre-agreed limit, which does not cause unreasonable disturbance to neighbouring residents or their guests. Any noise limit agreed with the local authority must be controlled by a sound limiter / cut out device installed by a reputable sound engineer.
7 All internal lobbied doors to any entrance / exit point, fire exit doors and external windows and doors in the function room should be closed during hours of any regulated entertainment, except in the event of an emergency, save for the purposes of access and egress.
8 The volume of amplified sound used in connection with entertainment shall at all times be under the control of the licence holder / DPS or management and the controlling mechanism shall be operated from a part of the premises inaccessible to the public.
9 A clear, legible and conspicuous notice requesting patrons to avoid causing noise, nuisance or disturbance to local residents shall be displayed at every exit.
10 The placing of refuse such as bottles into receptacles outside the premises shall not take place after 2100 so as to prevent disturbance to nearby premises.
11 Children are not permitted in the bar area unless accompanied by an adult.
