Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 No entertainment of an adult nature will take place on the premises.
2 There are no restrictions on the sale of intoxicants to residents. Intoxicants may be served to non-residents between the hours of 1200 - 2000 Sunday to Thursday and 2100 to 2100 Friday and Saturday, subject to conditions 3 & 4 below.
3 Any sale of alcohol made to a non-resident shall be provided by way of waiter / waitress service only.
4 Food will accompany the sale of alcohol made to a non-resident.
5 Notices will be displayed from either Trading Standards or the BBPA, illustrating that the Challenge 21 Policy is in force. Anyone who appears to be under the age of 21 years will be asked to produce photo ID.
6 The means of escape should be safe, free from any obstruction and checked prior to the public being admitted on the premises. Checks shall be documented and records made available for inspection by the Fire Service, Police or authorised officer of the Council.
7 A Fire Risk assessment to be completed by a competent person and the significant findings made available for inspection by the Fire Service, Police or authorised Officer of the Council.
8 Any staff or responsible persons using the property shall receive training in action to be taken in the event of a fire or suspicion of a fire, this shall be recorded and records made available for inspection by the Fire Service, Police or authorised Officer of the Council.
9 A fire alarm system to be provided that conforms to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. The fire alarm to be tested in accordance with BS 5839 part 1. Tests shall be recorded and records made available for inspection by the Fire Service, Police or authorised Officer of the Council.
10 Escape routes, where necessary, are to be indicated and illuminated by emergency escape lighting (maintained in the licensed areas) which is to be tested in accordance with BS 5266. Tests shall be recorded and records made available for inspection by the Fire Service, Police or authorised Officer of the Council.
11 The occupancy of the licensed area is limited to the number of adequate escape routes and the floor area, and shall be calculated and part of the Risk Assessment.
