Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
Noise from any regulated entertainment will be inaudible at the nearest sensitive premises or, at the discretion of the Local Authority, shall not exceed some other pre-agreed limit, which does not cause unreasonable disturbance to neighbouring residents.
The volume of amplified sound used in connection with entertainment shall at all times be under the control of the Licensee or Management and the controlling mechanism shall be operated from a part of the premises inaccessible to the public.
All external windows and doors leading into the licensed area should remain closed during the provision of regulated entertainment except when being used as an escape route in the event of an emergency.
All staff to have received suitable training in relation to the proof of age scheme to be applied upon the premises. Records to evidence this will be made available to an authorised officer upon request.
Appropriate measures will be taken to ensure staff prevent the removal of bottles or glasses from the curtilage and grounds of the licensed premises.
At least one personal licence holder will be available while the supply or sale of alcohol is being undertaken (who’s identity will be known to all other staff engaged in the supply or sale of alcohol) except in the case of emergency.
Only toughened glass vessels are used to dispense beverages to customers.
The premises are operated in accordance with the principles outlined by the ‘Nightsafe’ Initiative, as are relevant to those premises, and indicated in the associated leaflet.
The premises shall be operated in participation with the ‘Pubwatch’ and Radio-link schemes.
A zero tolerance towards illegal drugs will be enforced at all times.
If a disc jockey is used on any night appropriate announcements will be made to remind patrons of the need to leave the premises without causing annoyance, nuisance or disturbance to local residents.
If a CCTV system is installed at the site it will continue to operate during the additional hours granted and notices will be displayed.
All incidents of crime and disorder will be reported to the Police and will be kept in an incident log book.
Free drinking water, soft drinks and non-alcoholic drinks will be available at all times.
Additional patrols will take place by members of staff, internally and externally, to limit any noise pollution when entertainment is being offered within the premises.
Notices will be displayed requesting customers to respect local residents when leaving the premises.
Where already used text/radio pagers will continue to be used for the additional hours of trading and will be monitored by a responsible member of staff.
When children are allowed upon the premises any entertainment offered within the premises will be suitable for young persons.
Children will be required to be supervised by the accompanying adult at all times.
