Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1 CCTV will be installed at the premises. The CCTV system shall be maintained in proper working order, display the correct time and date of any recording on said recording and be recording at all times when the premises is open to the public.
2 CCTV recordings will be held for a period of no less than 14 days from the date they are recorded, and will be made available to an authorised officer upon request.
3 A4 notices will be prominently displayed, both inside and outside the premises, stating that CCTV is in operation.
4 A register will be maintained at the premises detailing each occasion on which the sale of alcohol is refused and the reason for said refusal.
5 There will be adequate lighting installed in the external areas of the premises to reduce any dimly lit areas.
6 Any alcohol to be sold from the premises will be displayed on shelving which will have a mechanism whereby the alcoholic goods can be covered in order that they are not accessible or clearly visible to customers after the terminal time for the sale of alcohol.
7 There will be signage erected close to the alcoholic products clearly advising customers of the terminal time for the sale of alcohol.
8 Notices will be erected prominently at the public exit of the premises requesting customers to respect local residents and to keep any noise to a minimum.
9 The external area of the premises will be kept clean and tidy.
10 There will be a written "Challenge 25" policy in place at the premises, which will be in operation at all times. The policy will require that any person who looks under the age of 25 and who attempts to purchase alcohol is refused service if they are unable to produce identification to prove that they are over the age of 18. Only the following will be deemed acceptable forms of identification: passport, photo driving licence, PASS accredited proof of age card, any other form of identification agreed with Blackpool Police Licensing Unit.
11 Signage promoting the "Challenge 25" policy will be prominently displayed at the public entrance to the premises and in the areas in which alcohol is displayed.
12 All staff will successfully complete training in relation to the "Challenge 25" policy prior to commencing employment and refresher training will be completed no less than every 3 months. Said training will be fully documented.
