Additional Conditions

• Annex 1 - Mandatory conditions

   

  1              Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied except during permitted hours.  Permitted hours means:

   

  a)              Monday to Sunday 1000 to midnight

  b)              On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours on New Year’s Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31st December)

  c)              In the event of the transmission of any recognised international sporting event which falls outside the current permitted hours on the premises licence: licensable activities may commence one hour before the start of the event and end one hour after the end of the event, the details of the event to be notified to the Licensing Authority and the Police 10 days beforehand, with the Police giving their prior written consent in each case.

   

  2              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

   

  a)              At a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence,

   

  or

   

  b)              At a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence, or his personal licence is suspended.

   

   

  3              Every supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence.

   

   

  4              Exhibition of films

   

                Where the film classification body is specified in the licence, unless the following applies, admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendations made by that body

   

                Where  -

   

  a)              The film classification body is not specified in the licence,

  or

  b)              The relevant licensing authority has notified the holder of the licence that this condition is applied to the film in question,

   

  Admission of children must be restricted in accordance with any recommendation made by that licensing authority.

   

   

  5              Any individual employed on the premises to carry out a security activity must be licensed by the Security Industry Authority.

  Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule

   

  1              All internal lobbied doors to any entrance / exit porch, fire exit doors and external windows should be closed during hours of any regulated entertainment except in the case of an emergency, save for the purposes of access and egress.

   

  2              The need for door supervisors is to be monitored and any advice given by the Police will be taken into account.

   

  3              The Manager is required to actively participate in and support the local Pubwatch scheme.

   

  4              Text and / or radio pagers, where already used will be used for any additional hours.

   

  5              Where existing, a CCTV system will continue to operate during the additional hours granted.

   

  6              In line with the company's alcohol and social responsibility policy there will be no promotions that encourage illegal, irresponsible or immoderate consumption of alcohol.

   

  7              Steps are to be taken to recognise the rights of local residents and to encourage customers to leave the premises quietly.

   

  8              No adult entertainment (paid for by the company of a nude physical nature) is permitted at the premises. Any children under 16 remain the responsibility of the accompanying adult when using the premises.

   

  9              Music must not be excessive in volume and must be under the control of the holder of the licence or his duly appointed representative. The requirements of the Licensing Authority's Environmental Services Division in relation to levels of noise produced inside or outside the premises as a result of, incidental to, or arising from the regulated entertainment, shall be complied with.
